The paper contracts a set of indicators system of SC supplier default on a comprehen sive exposition of its causes from the four dimensions of suppliers own factor,c ustomer demand,information integration and the accident in delivery channels and identifies the levels by using the pattern recognition technology.In the identi fication process,the paper reduces the dimension index in principal component an alysis firstly,then it measures the posterior probability of each breach occurre d with multi-dimensional normal probability model.On a reasonable loss of matrix structure,it calculates the expected loss arising from each decision and makes decision accordingly.Finally,numerical examples indicate that the method is feas ible and recognition results has certain objectivity.
