Abstract: After 60 years’ development, especially in recent 10 years, Capital Medical University School of Stomatology has become an important first-class stomatological hospital and academic base of stomatology in China, which provides a strong support and makes great contributions to professional training, intensive academic research, preventive and clinical treatment. Disciplinary construction is a very important strategic task for development of hospital and basis to promote the ability and the level of clinical, teaching work and scientific research in School of Stomatology. By now, there are two secondary disciplines: Basic Science of Stomatology and Clinical Science of Stomatology, both have become key disciplines in Beijing. We will work hard to further strengthen the academic team training, scientific research, research conditions, academic exchange, etc., and we are looking forward to becoming one of the national key disciplines in the near future.
