Abstract: The faculty of medical imaging integrated the advanced resources of all the affiliated hospitals and set up the directions of research as neuroradiology, head and neck imaging, respiratory radiology, cardiovascular radiology and interventional radiology. In the recent 10 years, outstanding achievements have been obtained by the faculty of medical imaging in construction of discipline, scientific research and personnel training, especially in scientific research, such as the imaging of brain diseases, cardiovascular diseases, cerebral vascular intervention and digital imaging techniques. Many articles have been published on Radiology, Neuroimage, Human Brain Mapping, which are top-level of radiology. Several awards of medical research, such as the Award of Chinese Medical Science, the Award of Science and Technology of Beijing, the Award of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Education, were also achieved. With the development of professional team, several outstanding researcher have been recognized. Keeping the direction of development, further results will be expected.
