Abstract: With continuous innovation and improvement fighting sprit of Neurosurgery scholars for over 60 years, especially during the recent 10 years, as the national key discipline, Capital Medical University School of Neurosurgery has become a research institute and academic base of leading domestic level, Asia's largest, higher good reputation in the world which combines scientific research, medical teaching and medical clinical work. With strong and professional force, we pay close attention to the frontiers and make remarkable achievements. A new situation is created in combining clinical trial and the basic research of Neurosurgery. We should plan our future development according to the School's own features, expand the research and service platform and improve the talents squad construction. In this way, Capital Medical University School of Neurosurgery in the new century to maintain the momentum of stable development and dedicate itself to be the pacesetter of Chinese neurosurgery.
