Abstract: The promotion and application of the concept of enhanced recovery surgery in total knee arthroplasty is a hot topic in recent years, and the ultimate goal is to improve the prognosis of patients and reduce medical costs. From the view of perioperative anesthetic management, we summarized the best evidence-based medicine data and focused on the anesthesia progress for total knee arthroplasty under the idea of enhanced recovery after surgery. It may be helpful for clinicians and nurses to improve the existing cognition, practice and decision-making.

Key words: total knee arthroplasty, enhanced recovery after surgery, anesthetic management, perioperative period
