Shoudu Yike Daxue xuebao(Journal of Capital Medical University) is a comprehensive academic journal of medicine and health care under the supervision of Beijing Municipal Commission of Education and sponsored by Capital Medical University. Founded in 1980, it was once known as Journal of Beijing Second Medical College and Journal of Capital Medical College, and changed to its present name in 1996, which is a bimonthly journal.
The journal is selected for “A Guide to the Core Journal of China”, “The key magazine of China technology”, “The core journal of China biomedicine”, and it is a 'double-effect' journal of “Chinese Periodicals Matrix”; and it is included in many search systems at home and abroad. The journal publishes excellent scientific research manuscripts from domestic and foreign workers in the field of medicine and health. It mainly publishes new achievements, new technologies and new experiences in the fields of basic medicine, clinical medicine, preventive medicine and pharmacy. There are columns of expert reviews, special reports, treatises (basic research, clinical research), technical methods, case reports, short treatises, reviews, subject profiles and interviews with famous teachers. The readers of Journal of Capital Medical University are biomedical scientists at home and abroad as well as teachers and students of higher medical schools.Since the first issue in 2024, it has become an open-access journal.
