摘要/Abstract

摘要： 瑞典卡罗林斯卡医学院2007年10月8日宣布,将2007年诺贝尔生理学或医学奖授予美国人马里奥?卡佩基、奥利弗?史密斯和英国人马丁?埃文斯,以表彰他们在改造活体内特定基因的基因靶向技术等方面做出的奠基性贡献。本文从3位获奖科学家的简介、主要贡献和基因靶向技术的意义等方面进行综述。

关键词: 基因靶向技术, 诺贝尔生理学或医学奖

Abstract: 8th October 2007 The Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institute has decided to award The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for 2007 jointly to Mario R.Capecchi,Martin J.Evans and Oliver Smithies for their discoveries of "principles for introducing specific gene modifications in mice by the use of embryonic stem cells".In this paper,we introduce contributions of the three winners,and the significance of the discovery of gene targeting.
