Abstract: To evaluate the precious localization of venous thrombus targeted by monoclonal antibody, anti-D-dimer antibody was labeled with 99m Tc and administrated into femoral vein of the rabbits that were subjected the venous thrombus. By radioimmunoimaging technique, the distribution, blood flow and radio-specificity of 99m Tc-anti-D-dimer within thrombus were analyzed both in intact and thrombolized animals. 99m Tc-anti-D-dimer was specifically concentrated in thrombus. The increase in blood flow was clearly observed in venous thrombus. In addition, no abnormal reaction resulted from the injection of 99m Tc-anti-D-dimer and pathologic changes in various organs were found. It is concluded that the 99m Tc-labeled anti-D-dimer antibody can be one of potential tools for experimental thrombus diagnose.
