Abstract: In the paper the technique known as differential display polymerase chain reaction(DD-PCR)was applied to explore genes expression in white cells of peripheral blood drawn from an allogenic heart graft patient on the day before the transplant operation and after the operation in order to assess genes′role in transplantation. Morphologic changes of the heart grafts were observed 11 d after transplant operation. RPL23 gene was expressed undulatority after the operation, but strongly when acute rejection occured; FK506 binding protein 1A gene was expressed weakly after the operation, but strongly when acute rejection occured. The result indicates that the study of genes expression of peripheral blood from a heart graft patient will be useful to assess genes′role in transplantation
