Abstract: The study investigated the effects of taking low-dosage of Ru486 in discharging the uterine remnants and shortening vaginal bleeding time after mifepristone abortion. 235 cases of early pregnancy women were divided into tow groups. 116 cases who took 50 mg Ru486 after blastula discharged was the clinical group. The other 119 cases who did not take any Ru486 was the control group. The difference of the rates of complete abortion and the time of vaginal bleeding between two groups was observed. The rate of complete abortion in the clinical group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.01).The vaginal bleeding time of the clinical group was shorter than that of the control group(P<0.01).The rate of D&C after abortion in the clinical group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P< 0.01). Low-dosage Ru486 can serve to speed up the discharging of uterine remnants to shorten the vaginal bleeding time after mifepristone abortion.
