摘要: 2012年度的诺贝尔化学奖授予了在G蛋白偶联受体研究中作出突出成就的美国科学家罗伯特·莱夫科维茨(Robert J. Lefkowitz)教授和布莱恩·克比尔卡(Brian K. Kobilka)教授。本文将对两位获奖者的研究工作与主要学术贡献给予较为系统的归纳和总结, 并对其获奖工作的科学意义及在相关药物研发重点的应用和价值进行展望和分析。

Abstract: Two American scientists Robert Lefkowitz and Brian Kobilka have honored the 2012 Nobel Price in Chemistry for their achievements in the G protein coupled receptor (GPCR) studies. In this article, we introduced their research in the related fields and summarized their major academic contributions that recognized among scientific researchers. Furthermore, we expanded the discussion regarding the significance and the potential applications of their work for morden medication and drug development.
