摘要: 2020年诺贝尔化学奖授予了Emmanuelle Charpentier博士和Jennifer A. Doudna博士,以表彰她们在“发展了基因组编辑技术”方面做出的贡献。本文对CRISPR/Cas9结构、原理进行了系统介绍,简要回顾了CRISPR/Cas9技术的发现及发展过程,最后对CRISPR/Cas9技术面对的前景、挑战与争议进行了展望。

Abstract: The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2020 was awarded jointly to Dr. Emmanuelle Charpentier and Dr. Jennifer A. Doudna, in recognition of their contribution to “the development of a method for genome editing”. In this review article, we have described the structures and mechanisms of CRISPR/Cas9, the discovery and development of CRISPR/Cas9 system, and the prospects and challenges about CRISPR/Cas9 system.
