Abstract:

Multiple myeloma (MM) is a malignant tumor with abnormal proliferation of plasma cells. Individuals with MM have a higher risk of thrombosis than other solid tumors, and the development of thrombosis would impact the prognosis and long-term survival. The chemotherapy played an important role in thrombosis in MM except for the complications of the disease itself and the factors of tumor cells. Therefore, it is very important to understand the mechanisms and prevention of thrombosis in MM.
