This article reviews endoscopic treatment methods, such as endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), multi-band mucosectomy (MBM), endoscopic submucosal tunnel dissection (ESTD), radiofrequency ablation (RFA), photodynamic therapy (PDT) and their progress in endoscopic treatment of early esophageal carcinoma.
