Abstract: Objective Medical academic journals are important because they provide means of communication and permanent record. Journal editors play pivotal roles in the process of publishing. Editors should have not only a wide range of professional knowledge, background of scientific research or clinical experience,but also strong sense of responsibility,good ability of written skills and excellent communication with people. Knowledge, skill and behavior of editors are necessary in improving academic quality of medical journal.
