Clinical strategy on reconstruction of thoracic and lumbar deformity in scoliosis surgery

Abstract: Interactions between spine,ligament and muscle contribute to the balance of human body. Patients with spinal deformity often have various degree of imbalance and suffer from fatigue,pain and disability when imbalance is out of range. In the treatment of spinal deformity,it is important to reconstruct sagittal alignment for restoring spinal balance,improving clinical outcome, and lowering the risk of post-operative complications.
