Abstract: Induced abortion with propofol anaesthesia avoids patients from pain, it is a safe and effectual method to terminate pregnancy. However, propofol can not make cervix uteri relax, so the difficulties and complications from cervix uteri in induced abortion can not be resolved. In this study, the dosages and time of taking misoprostol orally before operation was studied further. It was proved that cervix uteri in experiment groups was much flabbier than that in control group, if women took misoprostol 200 μg or 400 μg orally 2 h before the operation. The effect was obvious. The method is worth popularizing.
