Abstract: Objective To investigate the changes of coagulation and fibrinolysis systems during pre-DIC and DIC, and determine the relationships among TF and TFPI as well as t-PA and PAI-1. Methods Plasma concentrations of TF, TFPI, t-PA, PAI-1 and D-Dimer were measured with ELISA and ratios of TF/TFPI and t-PA/PAI-1 obtained. Results TF, TFPI, t-PA, PAI-1 and D-Dimer all became higher during the progress of DIC, TF/TFPI ratio was higher in pre-DIC, and t-PA/PAI-1 ratio was higher in DIC. Conclusion DIC is related to the disorders of coagulation and fibrinolysis system. Unbalance of TF and TFPI may be the cause of thrombosis formation in DIC; while the unbalance of t-PA and PAI-1 may be the most important cause of serious bleeding during DIC.
