Abstract: To investigate the mechanism of the humoral factor-leukocyte on lung injury in congenital heart disease(CHD)with severe pulmonary hypertension during perioperation, 31 consecutive cases of CHD with ventricular septal defect(No pulmonary hypertension 16 case, severe pulmonary hypertension 15 case)were studied during perioperation. Mean pulmonary arterial pressure, pulmonary vascular resistance, TXB2, 6-keto-PGF1α, MDA, IL-8, leukocyte and neutrophilic granulocyte number were measured. TXB2,the rate between 6-keto-PGF1αand TXB2(P/T), MDA,IL-8, leukocyte and neutrophilic granulocyte number were closely related to pulmonary pressure, pulmonary vascular resistance and respiration index(RI)in the case of CHD with severe pulmonary hypertension during perioperation. The humoral factor-leukocyte of the cases of CHD with pulmonary hypertension changed significantly during perioperation, which led easily to pulmonary damage. Lung injury during perioperation may affect hemodynamics.
