Abstract: The surface modification on the vascular tissue engineering biomaterials with extracelluar matrix is useful to improve the surface performance and biocompatibility. In this review, the effectiveness of the surface modification with three groups of extracelluar matrix(collagen, glycosaminoglycan and proteoglycan, glycoprotein),and their mechanism of action were analyzed and the relative hot spots in application were elaborated as well.It is good that surface modification imitates the natural vessel with the extracelluar matrix.Because of the existence of special cell adhesion protein receptor binding site, the glycoprotein has a preferable prospect.
