Abstract: Objective To investigate the value of immunohistochemical staining in the diagnosis of prostate adenocarcinoma. Methods The 321 prostate needle biopsies had been diagnosed histopathologically. The immunohistochemical staining was performed to detect the expression of P504s,P63 and CK34βE12.Results The expression of P504s was significantly different among prostate adencarcinoma,high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia and benign prostatic hyperplasia(P<0.01),but was not significantly different among from prostate adencarcinoma of different Gleason grades(P>0.05).P63 and CK34βE12 were negative in prostate adenocarcinoma, interruptedly expressed in high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia and strongly positive in benign prostatic hyperplasia. Conclusion P504s is a sensitive and specific marker for prostate carcinoma.Combined detection of P63、CK34βE12、P504s has great significance in differential diagnosis of prostatic diseases. It can improve the accuracy of diagnosis in prostate carcinoma.
