Abstract: The method of stepwise Iinear regression is to establish the RELATION between a dependent variable and some important independent variables. y=a+b1x1+b2x2+……+bLxL The method of auto stepwise in this paper lies in automa tically selecting important independet variables so that the ESTIMATE ACCURACY reaches the best level in general. The program was written in BASIC on PC-1500.
