Experimental Research of the Chinese Herbal Treatment of Noise Induced Hearing Loss

Abstract: The study demonstrated that in the group of treatment with chinese herbal medicine prescription for three days,acouesthesias were restored to normal level;while in the group without treatment,acouesthesia kept considerable damage,after to groups of guinea pigs were exposed to white noise at 125 dB.Scanning electron microscope observations of cochlear morphology also showed similar expression.These rusults indicate that chinese herbal medicine possibly is one of effective medicines in treating noise induced hearing loss.
