Abstract: To study the effects of Mn2+ on the rat liver nuclei pre treated with Mn2+ , AAS, MFS and UV were used to determinate the changes of contents of Mn, malondialdehyde(MDA) and superoxide dismutase(SOD) in rats. The results obtained by spectrophotometic method, showed that the contents of Mn,MDA and SOD injected Mn were higher significantly than in untreated animals ( P< 0.01 ). Mn can be uptaken by rat liver cells, and in the nuclei there are many effects on the lipid peroxide and systems of antioxide.

Key words: manganese, liver nuclei, atomic absorption, superoxide dismutase, maldondialdehyde, spectrophotometry
