Abstract: Serum and CSF immunoglobulins (IgG,IgA,IgM) were measured by radial immnodiffusion technique in 137 cases of various neurological diseases. It was shown that the Ig content of CSF in sporadic viral encephalitis, viral meningitis, demyelinated myelencephalopathy,Guillain-Barre syndrome and tuberculous meningitis was much higher than that in the control. The difference between them was significant. But there was no significant difference in serum Ig content between patients and normal control.
