Abstract: The experience gained from 86 selected cases of oro-maxillofacial hemangioma treated with liquid nitrogen cryotherapy was reported in this paper.Through long-term follow-up it was estimated that the overall effective rate approached 90.8% and total cure rate 78%。 Various factors affecting the effectiveness of eryotherapy,such as the type,size of the tumor, freezing time,were discussed. The cryotherapy for maxillofacial hemangioma has several advantages: (1).promising effectivenees,(2). less cost (3).simple technique (4).short time needed (5).no absolute contraindication.
