Abstract: Observation on 6 cases of hepatic regeneration after hepatectomy was reported. Liver scanning and liver function had been studied. Liver scanning showed that the regeneration of the liver was active about 6 months after hepatectomy and stopped about 2 years later. The liver function almost recovered within one month after operation. The method of clinical observation was discussed briefly.
