Abstract:
SF-Xiao Xi'Ling(Na3PO4·1/4NaOCl·12H2O)has been identified forits disinfectant function by Cheng Du(The Municipal EpidemicPrevention Station and Beijing Municipal Centre of Hygiene and EpidemicControl).Experiments demonstrated that SF-Xiao Xi Ling could kill bothvirus and bacteria efficiently. We carried out the following studies,i.e.acute toxicity test, accumulative toxicity test and mutagenicassessment of SF-Xiao Xi Ling. The results showed that the LD50valuewas 6937mg/kg B.W.by the oral route in mice.In rats, study on acuteoral toxicity revealed that the LD50 was 6810mg/kg B.W.in female and5010mg/kg B.W.in male respectively. It belonged to basically untoxic.substance.The cumulation cofficient which was more than 12.8 disclosedits absence of any obvious accumulative effect.Micronucleus test of micebone marrow, testis chromosome aberration analysis in mice and Amestest were all negative.Mutagenicity wasn't discovered. We consider thatSF-Xiao Xi Ling is a promising disinfectant detergent,it can be usedfor cleaning and disinfecting fruits and utensils if the residualquantities are not too much.
