Abstract: we compared proteins, isoenzyme patterns of esterase(EST) and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)of different developmental stages of Taenia solium by PAGE.The results indicated that there were 4 bands of esterase isoenzymes in eggs and the numbers of band were the most. There were 4 bands of lactate dehydrogenase isoenzymes in the scolex-cyst wall complex, the cyst fluid and proglottids respectively, and one of bands appeared to be main and clear. It was found that components of protein of egg were most complex and there were 19 bands at least. The cyst fluid was rich in glycoproteins stained by PAS,but no glycoprotein in other developmental stages of Taenia solium was found,we also compared the LDH and EST isoenzyme activities of different developmental stages of Taenia solium.
