Abstract: The plasma angiotensin II(ATII)has been separated by Sep-Pak C13and purified by HPLC then measured by RIA.25 mg of Captopril was administred orally to 8 patients with essential hypertension. The significant change of Plasma ATII started from 10 minutes after administration of Captopril.Plasma ATII and MAP both reached the lowest level at 60 minutes after Captopril, such response between plasma renin activity(PRA)and MAP was not observed.
