Abstract: The sub-chronic toxic test and chromosome aberration ana lysis of rats and mice were examined.The animals were fed with the diet that contain 22% muscle and 4%fat of the Beijing roast-duck which were irradiated by 60Co-ray with 20KGY.The results showed that there were no statistical significant difference between the experimental animals and controls in the parameters of the growth ratio,coefficiency of died utilization,routine and specific test of blood, viscera wt/body ratio and pathological inspection.There were also no statistical significant difference between the two groups in the chromosome aberration ratio of the cells from bone marrow of rats and the cells of testis of mice.This study shows that such a irradiated Beijing roast-duck has no toxicological harmful intluence to the experimental animals.
