Study on the Treatment of Guillain Barre Syndrome An Analysis of 151 Cases and 4 Autopsies

Abstract: 151 cases of Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS), including4autopsies, Were analized. The therapeutic problem of GBS were discussed in detail. The application of steroids did not get mush special effect for the treat-ment in the acute stage of GBS, and side effects of steroids, were seriously marked. It was emphasized that the main therapeutic way for the cases of GBS with weakness of respiratory muscles was bronchotomy in time and artificial respiration. Meanwhile, careful nursing is necessary.
