The Effects of the Fine Extract of Poacynum Pictum Baill on Drugemetabolizing Enzymes of the Liver in Rats

Abstract: In this paper the influences of the fine extract of poacynum pictum baill on drug-metabolizing enzymes of the rat liver were studied. The results indicated that the fine extract of poacynum pictum baill decreased the content of cytochrome P450 and the activity of NADPH- cytochrome creductase of the rat liver, but uneffected the activity of heptic GSH S-transferase.
