Abstract: 17 cases with bradycardia were paced in right ventricle and cardiac output, cardiac index and malor pulmonary arterial pressure were investig- ated. It was found that the hemodynamic effect was satisfactory with the pacing being 80 per minute, and this approach proved useful for the selec- tion of optimal pacing frequeicies. We conclude that the slower the heart rate and the lower the position of heart block are, the worse will be the prognosis(p<0.05).
