Hepatic Lesiens in Experimental IgA Nephropathy

Abstract: Hepatic lesions in experimental IgA nephropathy induced by CC14 cirrhosis of rats were demonsratted by PAP immuno-histoehemical method, IgA was found in the hepatic sinusoids, Kupffer's cells, phagocytes of portal regions and isolated hepatocytes. IgA deposits appeared earlier in the liver than in the kidney. IgG was also found in the hepatic tissues.
