Abstract: This article deals with the diagnostic values, sensitivity and specificity of Dot-ELISA in neurocysticercosis cases with cyst fluilds(CFAg),scolex(CSAg)and cyst wall(CWAg)of Cysticerus cellulosae as antigens.Positive rates of Dot-ELISA with these 3 kinds of antigens for neurocysticercosis(70 cases)were 95.7%~82.9,95.7~71.4% and 97.1~30% respectively in dilution of examined sera ranged from 1:20 to 1:320.There was no cross-reaction in subjects with normal controls(50 cases),clonorchiasis(50 cases),paragonimiasis (30 cases)and cerebrovascular disease(20 cases).Sera from 40 cases of echinococcosis patients showed positive reaction with these 3 antigens, with positive rates of 22.5~ 47.5%,10%~42.5% and 10%~17.5% respectively in different dilution of the examined sera, however the rate of cross-reaction with CWAg was lower than the other two antigens.
