Purification of Monoclonal Antibodies Against Rickettsia Tsutsugamushi by Using China-Made Hydroxyl apatite Chromatography

Abstract

Abstract: Ascites of BALB/c mice containing monoclonal antibodies Kp3 (IgG₁)and Kp4(IgM) against Rickettsia tsutsugamushi were purified respectively by using China-made hydroxyla-patite chromatography.The rate of reclamation of this method was higher than that obtained by chromatography on protein A-sepharose and ion exchange chromatography on DEAE cel-lulose.The antibody activities of the purified monoclonal antibodies were stable.This method can be used to purify both IgG and IgM.
