The Study of HBsAg and HBcAg Distribution in Salivary Gland Tissue

Abstract: In this study,the extirpated parotid,submandibular and sublingual gland from 13 cases of hepatitis B were determinated with polyclonal antibody and antibiotin-biotinhorse radish peroxidase(ABC), 4 cases were HBsAg(+),1 case was HBsAg(+)and HBcAg(+). The results provided morphologic basis for HBV distribution in salivary gland of hepatitis B,and showed that HBV in the saliva of hepatitis patients originated from infections salivary gland tissue.
