Abstract:

The anteroposterior and transversal diameters and the areas of the spinal canal and spinal cord in cervical myelopathy were smeasured using CTM.The ratios of both the anteroposteior and transversal diameters of spinal canal to spinal cord were 1:0.5 and the ratio of spinal canal area to spinal cord area was 1: 0.3.The results suggest that spinal cord will not be damaged by quiet pressure if spinal canal stenosis is not more than 50%.
