The Clinical Effect of Urapidil on Old Patients with Congestive Heart Failure

Abstract: A treatment of urapidil for 30 old patients with congestive heart failure was studied for 1 -2 weeks.Once a day every patient was given urapidil 50 mg added into 500 mL solution at the rate of 100 μg/min by intravenous way.The results showed :there was a significant decrease in the SBP,DBP,HR,and HR×SBP respectively (P<0.001, <0.05,<0.01,<0.01 )while the LVEF was significantly increased.The clinical effetivity was 90%.It suggested that urapidil is a safe effective vasodilative agant for old patients with congestive heart failure.
