Abstract: Rabbit ear chambers were used to observe the effect of anisodamine on microcirculation.Twenty seconds after anisodamine was injected via ear marginal venules, the microvessels began to distend, at the sametime, quicker blood flow and larger amplitude of spantaneous vasomotion was observed, but the frequency was not obviously changed. All of these changes reached their summits at 40 seconds.Fourty seconds after stopping injection, the microvessels began to contract, accompanying by lessening in amplitude of spontaneous vasomotion and blood folw. All of these changes returned to baseline at 90 seconds after injection.
