Abstract: To study the initial period of fat deposition in human obesity,27 children of over 120% ideal body weight aged 8～12 years old and 18 children of ideal body weight in the same age were observed.It was found that TC,TG,Ox-LDL and apoBwere markedly higher and apoA lower in obese children group than in control group (P<0.05～0.001),there were no difference between two groups in Lp(a).Abdominal ulfrasonic examination showed that 92.6% obese children had fatty liver.It was also found that peptide Cand insulin were higher in obese children group than in control group (P<0.05 and 0.001),and on positive correlation existed between peptide Cand body weight and between insulin and body weight.The investigation results suggested that there were abnormal metabolism of fatty and glycerol in simple obese children.
