Abstract:

Experimental hypoxia for 4 ,8 and 12 h respectively was induced in rats. The lung sections were stained with routine method and Nitro BTmethod for succinate dehydrogenase activity. The area of capillary cavity, size of endothelial cell and colour data were measured with image analysis equipment. The results showed that the area of capillary cavity and size of endothelial cell became increased along with the prolongation of hypoxia time, and the activity of succinate dehydrogenase became decreased along with the prolonged hypoxia time.
