Abstract: Preoperative urodynamics were performed in 32 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)to analyse whether or not patients with BPH had destrusor instability. The objective was to investigate incidence and severity of bladder spasm in two groups after prostatetomy. The results showed that incidence and severity of bladder spasm were significent different(P<0.01)between BPH with detrusor instabilityly and BPH with detrusor stability.
