The Clinical Analysis of 202 Cases of Oligohydramnios

Abstract: To investigate perinatal diagnosis of oligohydramnios and outcome of perinatal fetus methods 202 cases of oligohydramnios were reviewed. The incidence of oligohydramnios, from January, 1988 to July, 1998, was 1.47%(202/13 738). The prolonged pregnancy was 52.48 % (106/202). IUGR, EPH syndrome and prolonged pregnancy were common complications. The accordance rate that ultrasonography diagnosed oligohydramnios was 72.77%(147/202). The incidence of fetal distress and asphyxia neonatorum were 44.55%(90/202) and 2.48%(5/202) respectively. The death rate of perinatal fetus was 0.99%(2/202). The cesarean section rate was 92.08%(186/202). The result showed that ultrasonography is a simple and effective method diagnose oligohydramnios in the period of gestation. Early diagnosis and quickly performed ceasarean section is the key to improve the outcome of perinatal fetus of oligohydramnios.
