ClinicalStudy of Secondary IOLImplantationin the Devoid of Posterior Capsule Aphakia

Abstract: Secondary IOLimplantation was performed on 13 aphakic eyes devoid of posterior capsule, 6 eyes of which with AC IOLand 7 eyes with suspending PC IOL. The postoperative follow up was more than 1 year.Postoperative naked visualacuity was enhanced significantly compared with the preo perativ ,while corrected visual acuity was better than 1.0 in 4 eyes and 0.5 in 9 eyes. Both methods were safe and efficient. Signs of aphakia and the advantage and disadvantage of suspending PC IOLor AC IOL were emphasized in choosing operation method.
