Abstract:

Objective To evaluate the curative effect of hemoperfusion in the treatment of acute severe organophosphate poisoning. Methods 31 cases with acute severe organophosphate poisoning seen in our hospital from 2005 to 2009 were enrolled. The curative effect of hemoperfusion in the treatment was analyzed. Results After treatment , liver and kidney function , general condition improved markedly. 18 cases received endotracheal intubation were successfully extubated. The blood poison level was determined before and after hemoperfusion. After treatment, the blood poison level was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.05). Conclusion If patients have abnormal consciousness, it is recommended that the artificial airway and early hemoperfusion should be performed as soon as possible, which can effectively improve the patient’s general condition.
