Progress in the Treatment of HIV/AIDS

Abstract: Highly active antiretroviral therapy(HAART) is recognized as an effective treatment of HIV/AIDS currently,with the great success since its clinical application.But the current HAART can not eradicate HIV because of the challenges posed by latent viruses.In order to achieve the ultimate goal of curing AIDS,we need to improve our existing treatments.This article reviews literature on the treatment of HIV/AIDS.
