Abstract: Objective To explore the characteristics of the elderly emotional disorders and countermeasures.Methods Two hundred cases of elderly anxiety and depression of the data were analyzed,relationships between elderly anxiety,depression and physical disease,gender,age,education,occupation,sleep and so on were discussed.Results The elderly anxiety and depression in the level of education at all levels of people occured,and low education were symptoms of lighter,higher education were symptoms of heavier.The patients of stroke,hypertension,coronary heart disease,COPD,cancer,sleep disorders and in patients with peptic ulcers were usually had emotional disorders.Male was more than female,elderly patients were more than younger patients.Conclusion The elderly anxiety,depression are related to physical disease,age,gender,education,occupation,sleeping disorder.Doctors should pay attention to identify the elderly emotional disorders,timely processing.
