Abstract:

Objective To explore the expressions of oligomer α-synuclein (oligo-α-Syn) in digestive tract in different ages of cynomolgus monkeys. Methods Western blotting and ELISA was applied to measure the expressions of oligo-α-Syn in different ages of cynomolgus monkeys. Results The α-Syn oligomers increased significantly in the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, jejunum, ileum, colon of old monkeys compared with that of young and old monkey (P<0.01). Conclusion Oligo-α-Syn are the highest in digestive tract of old cynomolgus monkeys.

Key words: α-synuclein (α-Syn), oligomer α-synuclein (oligo-α-Syn), digestive tract, cynomolgus monkeys
